True to our role as cusdodians and our desire to share knowledge, we invite you on a journey back to the Grand Siècle with a unique exhibition dedicated to sculpture in France during the reign of Louis XIV.

We have chosen Fine Arts Paris & Le Grand Palais to host our exhibition ‘VERSAILLES MANIA’, a project presenting a selection of sculptures inspired not only by Versailles, but also by the ‘Galerie de Girardon’. In a display evoking the famous collection of François Girardon – the ‘Phidias’ of the ‘Grand Siècle’ ’ and chief architect of the Palace of Versailles – more than thirty works created during the reign of the Sun King, one of the most significant periods in the history of French art, will be showcased thanks to the collaboration of David Belugou on the set design.

Marble, stone, bronze and terracotta works dating from 1650 to 1750 will illustrate the artistic vision of this opulent and cultured era, which has become the symbol of a distinctive aesthetic and which shaped the European political and cultural landscape like no other. With a direct link to the Palace of Versailles, all these sculptures will offer the opportunity – and the dream – of acquiring a fragment of this iconic place!
